What is Possession of Alcohol Whilst Entering a Sports Ground or in View of Pitch?
This offence occurs when a person:
Has alcohol in their possession at any time during a designated sporting event while in an area of the sports ground where the event can be directly viewed.
Has alcohol in their possession while entering or attempting to enter the sports ground.

Maximum penalty: Level 3 Fine or 3 months’ imprisonment.
